SproutGuard ("SproutGuard," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SproutGuard mobile application (the "App"). SproutGuard is designed to help users build healthier digital habits through focus schedules, app blocking, usage awareness, and related tools powered by Apple system frameworks.

1. Information We Process

SproutGuard is designed to minimize the collection of personal information. Depending on how you use the App, the following information may be processed on your device:

• Focus and blocking settings: the schedules, goals, selected apps, selected categories, break settings, and preferences that you configure in the App.
• Screen Time-related data: information made available by Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks, such as aggregated usage information and authorization status.
• App progress data: streaks, progress indicators, focus history, and similar in-app records used to provide the App's core experience.
• Subscription status: information provided by Apple's StoreKit framework to determine whether premium features are available to you.
• Technical information: basic device and app state information needed for compatibility, diagnostics, and normal operation.

SproutGuard does not access the contents of your messages, emails, calls, photos, files, browsing content, notifications, or activity inside third-party apps.

2. Local Storage and Data Handling

SproutGuard primarily stores App settings and usage-related records locally on your device, including through iOS local storage and App Group storage used by the App and its extensions. We do not operate a separate server to collect your Screen Time data or app blocking selections.

Because these records are generally stored on your device, deleting the App or resetting App data may remove locally stored information, subject to normal iOS behavior.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed by SproutGuard is used only to provide, maintain, and improve the App's intended functionality, including:

• creating and managing focus schedules;
• blocking selected apps or app categories during configured periods;
• displaying progress, streaks, reminders, and usage insights;
• saving your preferences and App configuration;
• verifying subscription access through Apple; and
• supporting reliability, compatibility, and user support.
